Management Console Overview


The Management Console is a web-based collaboration platform for sharing, governing and monitoring all aspects of the Katalyst Application Integration Platform.

Web-based collaboration repository
  • With the click of a button from DesignStudio, deploy robots directly to a shareable repository for others to use in your organization.
  • Create and share robot-run schedules.
  • Generate Java and .NET APIs with the click of a button for real-time execution of robots and use the API in your preferred application development environment.
  • Include a custom SOAP or REST service generation and make it available as a one-click web-service deployment. Will support either IIS or J2EE
Task Scheduler
  • Schedule the tasks of one or more robots to be executed at predefined times.
  • Relate input resource files or parameters to each schedule, or execute robots and schedules on demand.
  • Designate schedules to run on specific RoboServer clusters.
Data browser with export to Microsoft Excel
  • With the click of a button, export data directly to Microsoft Excel, XML or CSV files or download it to your desktop.
Production and log monitor
  • Access detailed runtime information, including status messages and robot execution information.
  • View server-level information or drill down into individual robot runs.
  • Easily find error messages and troubleshoot process interruptions.
  • Click on an error and Design Studio automatically loads the robot to show you how and where the error happened.
  • Fix the error and push the robot back in production with minimal impact on your data processes.
Administration and setup, including user role management
  • Access advanced administration and setup features in the Management Console.
  • Configure the operational environment.
  • Define RoboServer clusters
  • Set up user role management with direct integration to LDAP/AD servers and existing user grouping.
Server resource dashboard
  • Monitor health of running robots, including performance, memory usage and number in action, with a graphical overview.
  • Customize the dashboard with pre-built portlets and click inside the graphics to access additional functions. For example, by clicking on an error you go directly to the relevant log entry for fast, easy problem fixing.
